James Kirby received my PhD in the field of clinical psychology from The University of Queensland. His PhD involved developing and evaluating a new version of the Triple P - Positive Parenting Program for grandparents. His research is now focused on examining the role of mindfulness and compassion in enhancing nurturing family environments.
James is also a Clinical Psychologist and works in private practice at Psychology Consultants where he practices compassion-focused therapy.
